Our Appraisers

Gracie Howe is a native of Colorado and grew up in Eaton. She has always had a passion for art and art history. After graduating from Eaton High School she attended Hastings College in Nebraska on an academic scholarship. While in Nebraska Gracie had the opportunity to intern at the Hastings Museum under the curator Teresa Kreutzer-Hodson. Gracie graduated from Hastings college with an art history degree and went on to continue her education at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. She later graduated with a Masters in Fine and Decorative Art and an even deeper appreciation for art and antiques. Upon returning to Colorado she worked at the Denver Art Museum for 2 years before starting her career Prestige Estate Services. 

Gracie joined Prestige Estate Services in 2018 after spending years in pursuit of experience and higher education in various backgrounds. It’s always been part of Gracie’s passion and pursuit to write her own path in the fine arts and art history field, with her ladder portion of her studies focused on fine and decorative arts. Her varied roles leading up to her tenure with Prestige Estate Services has allowed her to bring a versatile background to her role with Prestige. 

Gracie is part of our estate sale division as well as our appraisals division, currently doing on-site pricing research for estate antiquities that we’ve been entrusted to sell for our clients. Her work with Prestige Estate has increased her exposure and knowledge of antiques, furnishings, decorative and fine arts and she looks forward to establishing her specialty in these areas through further study within her field. She has completed her Personal Property USPAP Course in addition to her Master’s Degree and is a welcomed addition to Prestige’s Appraisals Division. Gracie personally provides the home inventory and valuation services as well as the appraisals line. She specializes in fine and decorative arts as well as general household content. Gracie and her team also provide services in association with other various types of valuations for division of assets, estate tax purposes, donations and personal use.
